Anyone who lives in Portugal, please help!?
i need to do a project on issues in Portugal. Not current events, but an issue that can be discussed. for example, if i were doing India i would talk about population and abortion. if i were doing America i could talk about obesity or health care or the Mexican border. I need something like that to talk about for Portugal. i have been looking but can’t find much online. anyone who lives there or knows about this country, please help me!
i heard it was generally full of people who were considered not happy or something, like you don’t feel safe there. if this is true, please let me know.
I live in portugal and we think that we are a safe country(maybe you were talking about the 1960′s were we a dictator), we are developed country but one of europe poorest country, I guess you can talk about portugal being one of the greenest country in europe and like more than 20% of our energy is renewable (http://www.the-news.net/cgi-bin/article.pl?id=985-1) or that we allow the consume of drugs http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/markeaston/2009/07/how_portugal_treats_drug_addic.html
