Labor-Labor & Delivery – customs procedures in India.?
I am currently in my 28th week of pregnancy. I'll be back (USA) to India (Chennai) ready for delivery. My questions are related to the procedure for hospital labor and delivery. I have planned to go to a leading hospital in Chennai. I have some of Q; Some advice please. I really do not want down with the left foot with the doctor. 1. As in the U.S. and the United Kingdom, the doctors here will not consider applications for the type of delivery, delivery would be like to have. For example, I love walking in the initial stage, I would not want to work rested in bed. I would prefer a more natural position, etc. 2. My next question – I really do not want an enema. I have a major phobia about it. Is it true that Indian hospitals insist on one? I would really like if any of you can educate me in the usual procedure. No offense to the doctor who can help me. Thanks in advance
Having it in the U.S.. Find a doctor ahead of time and see that he / she may be considered. It may also depend hospitals protocol, nurses on duty. If these are a must to get the delivery to the U.S., but will be treated equally.
